I've recently returned from India where I've went to do some inspirational talks about living with HIV. One of the things I'm very conscious about when I travel is my medication. Many many countries in the world restrict entry to people living with HIV, including the United States. In order to travel to the United States, I have to have a special waiver, a special visa waiver which means that I have to declare that I have HIV. This is a great concern. Many people get refused entry to countries throughout the world because they're living with HIV. This is just another one of the considerations that you have to take into account when you're thinking about being tested and when you're thinking about what the impact of living with HIV might have upon your life.
